County funding for affordable housing for people with developmental disabilities.
On September 11, 2018, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 to direct the County Executive's Office to identify $40 million in non-Measure A funds to fund a new county finance program to provide housing for extremely low and very low income individuals with developmental disabilities served by the Regional Center and who are not yet homeless.
On March 12, 2019, the County Executive's Office will report back to the Board of Supervisors on the status of the $40 million proposal to finance affordable housing for extremely low and very low income individuals with developmental disabilities served by the Regional Center and who are not yet homeless.
