SCSD9 Meal Service During Closure
Parents, please fill out this form to let us know if you are interested in meal service during the school closure due to COVID-19.
Our plan is to offer a sack breakfast and a sack lunch at NO CHARGE to any enrolled student in our district that requests it during school closures, beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Meals can either be picked up at Big Piney Elementary or La Barge Elementary parking lots, or delivered to your home. Students will receive meals each day school would normally be in session. We are not doing a day by day ordering system. Each meal will meet USDA requirements including a carton of milk. If you request delivery, our delivery people will knock on the door or ring the doorbell and leave meals on the doorstep but will not be in direct contact with anyone. Both meals will be delivered together, sometime between 8:00 and 10:30 am. If you prefer to pick up your meals, either elementary location may be used and meals may be picked up between 8:30-9:00 am. You accept responsibility for the food and agree to refrigerate immediately and keep refrigerated until consumption.
Due to delivery issues, we are unable to add new enrollees until the week of 4/6. If you sign up between 3/27 and 4/1, you will start receiving meals starting 4/6. You MUST be signed up by 4/1 to start receiving meals for the week of 4/6.
