IMPORTANT: Minimum required Intermediate Dance skills. Samba dance experience is not required.  

EXCITING - The cost of the samba lessons and performer costumes will be covered by Latin Dance MN.

Are you able to commit to the rehearsal schedule outlined below for January–July 2026?

-Total time: approximately 3-4 hours practice per week


WEDNESDAYS, 7–8:30 PM - Samba fundamentals at Center for Performing Arts. NOTE: The instructor may approve this class as a hybrid option for advanced dancers and those who already know Samba dance.

SUNDAYS, 10 AM–11:30 AM - Choreography rehearsal at Threads Dance Project studio.


IMPORTANT: Missed rehearsals may eliminate you from the final show that will happen in the month of July, 2026.

I understand that: 
1)  Intermediate or Advanced dance skills are required but previous experience of Samba is not. 
2) I should wear comfortable clothes, socks and bring water. No need to bring dance shoes. 
3) I must arrive at the audition at least 15 minutes before it starts.

I am not permitted to participate in, rehearse with, or perform for any other Samba groups within the Twin Cities, MN until the show is over.
