We aim to come back to you within a week, however as the club is run by volunteers this may take a bit longer if we are on holiday.

Which type of membership? *
Canoeing is undertaken entirely at members own risk. Members agree to abide by the Club Constitution and Rules. Canoeing and Kayaking are “Assumed risk, water contact” sports, that may carry attendant risks. Participants should be aware of and accept these risks, and be responsible for their own actions and involvement. I agree that neither the Club nor its committee or officers can be held responsible for any accident or damage arising at the Clubhouse or while canoeing. If Hampton Canoe Club Ltd is ever wound up I will contribute up to one pound sterling to help meet its debts. I have explained the following membership terms and conditions to other members include in this application and have their agreement to these conditions also. *

Hampton Canoe Club takes your privacy seriously. We will only use your data to administer your contract with the Club. How your information will be used: When you become a member, or renew your membership with Hampton Canoe Club, you agree to the use of your personal data for administering your membership and for us contacting you with club notices relevant to your membership. The club notices may include information about club trips, improvers sessions, courses that are being run, river conditions, or changes to membership conditions. We will only retain your data for as long as we need to administer your membership. We will contact you primarily by email using the club email group hcc-all@googlegroups.com If we need to contact you in an emergency we may contact you by phone or text. Data Processing: Membership data is currently stored by membership administrators, Committee members and club members who we have asked to be emergency contacts. This information is stored on a shared drive with access restricted to the above people and managed by the membership administrator. This may transfer data outside the EU to a country with an adequate level of data protection (This is because we use services such as Google drive.).
