Effective and timely communication is of utmost importance in ensuring quality healthcare outcomes for patients, and Bayanihan Clinic is dedicated to enhancing access to primary and preventative healthcare for culturally diverse and underserved communities in the Greater Sacramento area.

Through this service by our clinic’s Medical Interpreter (MI) Program, we aim to provide a bridge for healthcare providers and Tagalog-speaking individuals, ensuring accuracy, understanding, and compassion within medical interactions and the clinic space. This entails having our clinic MI’s accompany patients throughout their encounter and translation of documents as needed - whether this will be over telemedicine appointments, in-person clinic appointments, laboratory work-ups, or external clinic referral visits outside of Bayanihan Clinic.

To acquire our services, we kindly ask that you fill out this form in its entirety. This form will help us note the necessary details to provide limited English proficiency (LEP) patients a seamless and respectful encounter. To respect our Medical Interpreters' time and schedule, please fill out and submit this form 2 weeks before the scheduled appointment. If this form is not submitted ahead of time, we will continue to try and aid your encounter, but we cannot guarantee that we can provide you with a Medical Interpreter in time.
