Who are we?
The Creative Writing Studies Organization is dedicated to helping creative writing studies establish itself through increasing the visibility of scholarship that pertains to creative writing and being an inclusive, diverse space that fosters open conversation about topics pertaining to the field.
What is this?
We organized this free, one-day mini-conference to coincide with AWP in an effort to expand conversations and draw new scholars into the field. If you're interested in pedagogy, CW research, professionalization, diversity and inclusion, the history of the field, or the intersection of theory and CW, this is the place for you.
This conference is free, so all are welcome to attend the entire day or just a portion of it. Though there is no fee, we hope you will become a member of the Creative Writing Studies Organization to support the work of fostering conversations around the discipline of CW Studies.
Register by March 1 in order to receive conference updates.
