Why do I need to apply?
This program is free thanks to the support of the Ohio Division of Natural Resources. In order to keep this program alive, we must collect data. Be sure to fill out the form to the best of your ability as this data is crucial for our program and the continuation of the Mahketewah Anglers; thank you for your understanding.

Background info of MCA:
With the help of thousands of volunteers and 25+ years of restoration projects, Mill Creek, once called Mahketewah, is now sustaining a wide variety of fish such as walleye and white striped bass! The resurgence of the river is a true success story and it is time to reclaim our natural asset for summer fun, fishing, hiking, and adventure! Apply today and join us this summer!
 
Info about the summer commitment:
Weekly, Thursday events will occur for 5 weeks starting in June and ending with a camping trip and/or longer excursion starting the second week of July and ending the first week of August.
 
All Thursday outings will take place starting at 9am-1:30 from a designated weekly drop off/pick up location at MCA office in Reading, Ohio 1223 Jefferson Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.

Students are expected to bring a packed lunch and adventurous clothing for the day. All park entrances, transportation from Pick-Up  and Drop-Off sites, fishing supplies, and tackle will be provided. Youth 16 and older are required to have a State of Ohio Fishing License which must be purchased individually by the youth prior to the first fishing date.
