Please self-submit listings for your books, articles/chapters, public writing, podcasts, and videographic essays published within the last three years on themed topics (if an edited collection is entirely related to one of the themes, you may submit the whole collection; otherwise, please only submit the relevant chapter(s)). Please note that some themes may be medium specific (e.g. video games) whereas others may be topic-bound but welcome publications about all forms of media addressing that topic.
Submissions will be reviewed for their relevance to the proposed theme; as such, not all self-submissions are guaranteed to be included in the published New Research list. There is no limit on the amount of published work you can self-submit, and you are welcome to submit multiple entries (please use a separate form for each) for the same theme; however, we usually limit entries to three from a single author in the published list. Whether a submission is included or not will be at the discretion of the JCMS editors. You can always email New Research editor Aviva Dove-Viebahn (adovevie[at]asu.edu) with questions.
