This application is for rising 7-12th graders who would like to volunteer as a Reading and/or Math Buddy this summer (summer 2026) for the Caldwell Public Library.
Hours: Wednesdays in July 2pm-3pm.
Emails will be sent each Monday throughout the month to confirm attendance for that week's program.
What: Reading volunteers: You'll encourage children's love of reading and literacy. You'll read with children who drop-in for the program and you might also engage with them about the books they are reading for our summer reading challenge. Math volunteers: You'll help kids both develop their existing math skills and also grow their interest in mathematics. You may play math games with kids who drop in for math help or help them with activity sheets they bring to the session.
