Detroit Alley Cats Adoption Application
Please read our adoption policy carefully before applying:

We work to match our cats with the most suitable homes and with respect to the order in which we receive the applications. An approved application does not guarantee an available cat.

In instances of a bonded sibling pair, priority is given to applicants who can adopt a pair together.

All adopted cats must be picked up at our Southwest Detroit or at their place of foster. Your own cat carrier is required to pick up your cat. Carrier must be fully assembled upon your arrival.   

Please allow us 24-48 hours to review your application.

Upon an application approval, you will be notified by email with instructions for the next steps.

Should there be any reason that you can no longer keep your cat, we will take them back as a surrender.

Adoption Fees:
Kitten under 6 months - $250
Cat over 6 months - $200
Special case - $80
Pair of cats or kittens - $350
Adoption fee covers spay/neuter, vaccines, FIV/FeLV test and a microchip.
