Kevin Hines is a survivor of a suicide attempt when he attempted to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge in S.F.  He has developed a connection of hope and courage between life and death for people caught in the pain of living with serious mental illness, difficult life circumstances, and more. His invigorating honesty, activism, and understanding of the complex surroundings that contribute to mental illness and suicide have aided those who have lived through the darkness of societal stigma and discrimination.
