Bluegrass Realtors Leadership Academy (L.E.A.P) Application
Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years as a licensed, active Realtor

  • Broker recommendation letter (Current Brokers applying are exempt from this requirement). Please email reccomedation letters to zachm@bluegrassrealtors.com

  • Interest in serving Bluegrass REALTORS as a committee member, committee chairperson, Director or officer

  • Capability and commitment to complete all required program objectives

Application Procedure

Members of Bluegrass REALTORS who are interested in applying for the Leadership Academy are encouraged to submit their application! Each application is reviewed by the BGR Leadership Committee and participants will be selected based on the criteria above. No more than 15 participants will be selected per year. BGR strives to maintain a balanced academic program based on a variety of factors.

Tuition for the Academy is ($199). This fee includes all training, speakers/instructors, meals, events, and instructional materials. Any additional costs, such as transportation, will be the responsibility of the participant. 

**Tuition is non-refundable**

The deadline to submit your application is October 31. Interviews will be hosted November 1st-30th.  Participants will be selected and notified by December 10.

If selected, payment for the Leadership Academy is due before the start of the program.

  • January 11, 2027 - Governance/Advocacy Overview

  • January 14, 2027 - Bluegrass REALTORS Installation Luncheon

  • February 1-4: KYR Legislative Meetings

  • February 25, 2027 - Hill Visit Recap

  • March 18, 2027 - Three Way Agreement

  • April 15, 2027 - Chamber of Commerce Visit

  • May 13, 2027 - Community Involvement and Media Training

  • June 3-4, 2027 - Service Project and Overnight Retreat
