Working Positively: Discrimination against people living with HIV working in healthcare settings
National AIDS Trust is working as a partner on EHLF’s project on workplace discrimination against people living with HIV who work in healthcare settings (any setting where health care is delivered) . The objective of this survey is to capture experiences of stigma and discrimination in 6 European countries.

The information and data collected here will help make up the UK’s ‘country profile’ in an EHLF legal report and a follow-up policy brief and recommendations. These will be designed to support advocacy efforts to reform discriminatory legislation and policies, to improve practice, and to reduce discrimination against people living with HIV in the workplace. The final reports will be shared widely in Europe and in the UK.
There is no need to respond to all questions –  if you have a story, experience or case study that fits into any of these categories, please do share it with us. You can also share other people’s experiences that you know about. We won’t include any identifying information in the final report about you or the healthcare settings you describe, except we may mention the healthcare setting if they are an example of good practice (unless you ask us not to).

Thank you for choosing to participate in this short survey. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact George on

Deadline extended: please respond by 6 May 2022
