2019 Elementary Funding Survey for Parents and Guardians
Survey Purpose
This survey is to gather your input regarding program priorities for the 2019-2020 school year at the elementary schools. The survey is drafted by SchoolCARE with support and input from the elementary school Principals, Site Councils, PTAs and District business and instructional staff.

As an all-volunteer, non-profit that formed 18 years ago, SchoolCARE has raised $4.5 million to equitably fill funding gaps and protect our kids from state budget cuts. Of all the volunteer school groups, SchoolCARE is in the unique position to provide the most funding for the staff and teachers who keep our community strong. While SchoolCARE is not able to support every program on this list, your input is extremely valuable as we continue to raise funds and plan. The survey results will be shared on the SchoolCARE website and with AUSD and with our community funding partners:

- The Albany Education Foundation which funds grants for individual classroom teachers, specialists, whole schools, and district-wide programs.
-The Albany Music Fund which is dedicated to music education excellence and equity in Albany schools.
- Albany PTAs that support a variety of elementary school programs including teacher support, Family STEAM programs, student assemblies, parent education, scholarships for field trips, library books, school garden, and more.

We are grateful that the Albany community comes together in so many ways to support our students.

Please complete by Friday, April 5th. Thank you!
