This is a fellowship event for the entire body of Grace Baptist Church. Attendees will let organizers know if they wish to be "Hosts" or "Guests." The goal of the event is to build community, introduce our congregants to people they might not otherwise know, and create a fun time of conversation and fellowship.
The event is open to all attendees of GBC, of all ages. Meals do not need to be fancy! Make what you love to share with your new friends. We will not be sharing any information about the food, so be prepared for an eclectic meal! Dietary concerns will be taken into consideration.
We hope this idea sounds like a lot of fun and that most of our church body will participate!
Hosts will welcome a group of lunch guests in their home for a time of fellowship and meal-sharing. They will advise organizers how many guests they can host. A week prior to the event, Organizers will let hosts know what their final guest numbers are, along with any dietary concerns. Hosts will be responsible for preparing the main dish and providing beverages, but will not be informed as to who their guests are.
Guests will be traveling to an unknown home, to an address provided in the week leading up to event day. Guests will be responsible for for bringing a side, salad or dessert. Organizers will advise as to number of guests to prepare for and any dietary concerns to consider.
If you have any questions at any point, please don't hesitate to connect with Nicole Voth or Sam Jones at the contact information above.
