2022 Vanhoover Pony Expo Musician Application

). NOTE: this form is for the IN-PERSON convention taking place January 7-9th, 2022 in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
No prior performance experience is required to have a slot at Vanhoover Pony Expo (though it certainly helps); just show us that you can put on an awesome Pony set that attendees will enjoy!

Are you or will you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks before Vanhoover Pony Expo?
You'll need to upload proof of vaccination to the ArriveCAN app within 72 hours of passage to cross the border into Canada. More info:

Here's the tough part: Vanhoover is still a small convention, and while we can give discounted badges to musicians, we unfortunately cannot afford to give free badges as of this year to anyone, including staff (even our Chair has to pay for his own badge). However, we can offer badges at a pretty steep discount to musicians at $20 CAD (approx. $15 USD). We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and we hope that you will still consider applying to perform at VaPE 2022.
I understand that while my musician badge is discounted, it is (unfortunately) not free this year.
What setup do you have? If your performance requires instruments, please choose "Acoustic". If you are using music on a CD or a laptop/controller (even if you plan on singing/rapping to it) please choose "EDM/DJ".

How much Pony content will you feature in your performance?
"Pony content" includes (but is not limited to) songs/tracks inspired by the show and/or the fandom, as well as covers, remixes, and songs from the show and/or fandom, and tracks featuring Pony samples or vocal chops. Albums such as P@D, ASoS, and Equinity are also included in this.

This is where it really counts! Please post a link to either: a previous performance (video or audio), a 30-60 minute sample mix for DJs (can be on Mixcloud, MediaFire, MEGA, etc.), or a link to your musician portfolio for acoustic or any singing acts (can also be a previous performance, a Bandcamp link, etc.). This should ideally be the one key demo that best shows off your skills and the genre(s) you intend to perform. Any extra links can be submitted in the question below.
Social Media/Supporting Performance Links
Please post any supporting links to your social media that may show off your performance abilities. Examples include YouTube, Mixcloud, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Facebook, etc. You may even paste links to additional mixes or performances if you would like. There is no limit to how many links or social media profiles you can submit (except for Twitter, which can be entered in the next question below).
Please list any applicable performance experience you have, if any. It can be online or real life, at previous conventions, parties, or even radio stations! Did you have a set at an album release party on PonyvilleFM? List that here! Did you play a set at a renegade stage at a convention? List that here (and tell us what convention)! Supporting links with video are awesome too. Note that a lack of experience will NOT count against your application.

We will do our best to accommodate based on your availability, however being available for both nights will increase your chances of being selected.
Is your set safe and fun for all ages? If not, why?
Note that this will not count against your application, however if your set contains language (for example) you may be given a set time that is later rather than earlier. Please list any elements in your set that may not be family-friendly (example: My set may contain PG-13 language).
What equipment are you bringing (including any instruments)?
For example: if you have an electric guitar, will you be bringing your own amp as well? This helps our A/V team plan their audio setup.
What equipment/connections will you need?
We will provide microphones (wired, wireless, lavalier (lapel), and headset) as well as speakers. However, A/V would like to know how many of what your specific act needs. For example: how many microphones do you think you will need?, what connection does your controller use (XLR, RCA, etc.)?, will you need any monitors?, do your instruments require any special audio equipment that you are not already providing (such as a guitar amp)?, etc.
