FIT (Female Integrated Training) for GIRLS
Shantala Boss, licensed mental health counselor, is teaming up with D1 Sports to offer group sessions, which will include fitness group training with a certified group trainer, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and processing groups lead by Shantala. Studies have proven that exercise is directly linked to mental wellness. When CBT is combined with physical exercise, positive results occur. Camp sessions will be a week long from 9 am to 12 pm daily. Girls will move between physical wellness activities to social and emotional skill lessons throughout the day to keep them engaged and motivated. Social skill lessons will include activities and processing in subjects of self esteem, team building, friendship goals, boundaries with peers, expression of emotion, etc. Groups will be broken up based on age of attendees. Currently accepting applications for ages 6 to 15 for the week of July 13-17 and 20-24. Sign up now before spots are filled!
