About Northumberland Pride
Northumberland Pride is a community based organisation, led by volunteers that aims to improve the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT+) people throughout the County of Northumberland.
We promote equality and diversity by eliminating discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity by raising awareness of the issues faced by LGBT+ people and create safe spaces where LGBT+ people can explore their culture and heritage, breaking down barriers by celebrating inclusivity and removing social exclusion.
Northumberland Pride March 2018
The first Northumberland Pride March will leave Alnwick Town centre at 12pm on Saturday 2nd June 2018. You should arrive at Alnwick Town Centre, Market Square from 11:30am.
The theme this year is “Community & Allies” and we welcome fancy dress, bright colours that represent our community and allies across Northumberland.
We ask groups of four or more to register, and nominate one person per four to walk alongside the March and be responsible for your group.
Any questions can be directed towards Tim Holmes at firstname.lastname@example.org including the subject "Pride March".
