Fill out this form completely and submit by 5:00 p.m., July 22, 2019. The Iowa Thespian Board will meet to vote on Studio Theatre shows in late July.

Studio Theatre performances will take place in either the Strayer-Wood or the Bertha Martin performance spaces.

Studio Theatre shows will be charged a $60 performance fee.

All Studio Theatre show content must be appropriate for a high school audience.

Studio Theatre performances are scheduled into a very limited time frame. Each performance is given 10 minutes to load in, 5 minutes to load out, and a maximum of 45 minutes performance time. You may not bring large set pieces with you, although you will be able to choose from a list of available stock pieces that are housed at UNI. You are encouraged to keep your technical and scenic needs to a minimum. No microphones are allowed.

All Studio Theatre performances will be adjudicated for possible Chapter Select honors.

If you have questions about the Studio Theatre application, please contact Tom Stephens, Festival Co-Chair, at tstephens@mvcsd.org.
