FCS Summer Speed Series
The FCS Summer Speed Series is designed for all athletes to learn and apply acceleration and top speed running mechanics to take individual athletic development to the next level. Each session includes four - 90 minute workouts held once a week on the Friends' Central outdoor track. Throughout the sessions we will cover mobility, acceleration and top speed mechanics, power development and explosion.

* Session 1: 4pm-5:30pm Mondays - June 10, 17, 24, July 1

* Session 2: 4pm- 5:30pm Mondays - July 8, 15, 22, 29

The Summer Speed Series will be coordinated by Matt Rowley (FCS varsity assistant baseball coach and Lower Merion High School Girl's Indoor assistant track coach) and Jason Kilgore (Director/Head Coach of Track & Field and Cross Country at West Chester University). Coach Rowley earned a Master's degree in exercise science and spent time working as a minor league strength and conditioning coach with both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers. Coach Kilgore holds USATF Level 2 certifications in Sprints/Hurdles/Relays and Jumps while also earning USTFCCCA Specialist certifications in Sprints/Hurdles/Relays and Jumps, as well as strength and conditioning. http://www.wcupagoldenrams.com/staff.aspx?staff=103 Coaches Rowley and Kilgore are both on the Golden Rams all-time top ten lists in multiple events.

FCS Summer Baseball Camp
* Session 1: 8:30am- 12pm June 24-27

* Session 2: 8:30am-12pm July 15-18

Players attending the FCS Summer Baseball Camp will have a great experience learning valuable skills and techniques to develop their on-field performance. In addition to covering topics such as throwing, hitting, pitching fielding and situational knowledge, participants will also learn the importance of mental skills, leadership and team building.

This camp is designed to help players take their game to the next level and provide strategies that they will be able to take home with them and implement into their daily practice.
