The Imprisoned Blogger - Book Talk & Discussion
During this People's University session we'll be hearing from Palestinian-Canadian and former political prisoner, Othman Hamdan who maintains the blog titled, "Imprisoned Blogger." During this book talk, Othman will be speaking about the parallels between his experiences and those of folks around the world, highlighting some of the underlying reasons and rationales that motivate the incarceration of people for their political beliefs. We'll also spend some time discussing Othman's analysis as a group and writing notes of solidarity to and for political prisoners!
