We are seeking pitches for programming for "Democrazy Fest" at Co-Prosperity, an experimental cultural center located in Bridgeport, Chicago. From August 8-18, we are opening our doors and inviting artists and activists to build and organize together in preparation for the DNC. Help fill Co-Prosperity Chicago with the means of art production, workshops, teach-ins, performances, and more. 

We are also seeking political actions, workshops, and public programs happening during the week of the Democratic National Convention to feature in our magazine. Listings will serve as a "counter convention guide" for those interested in mobilizing around the DNC, taking over the streets, and plugging into Chicago's organizing scene. Events must occur during the week of August 19-22 to be listed on our convention calendar.

Lumpen Magazine is an independent arts publication that responds to the politics, culture, and movements of our times. In preparation for the Democratic National Convention in August, we are inviting contributors to confront the legacy of the 1968 DNC protests and engage with the urgent contemporary movements that will bring people back to our streets this year.
