Get Involved: Volunteers
Thanks for your interest in the Team Event 2021/22 Volunteer Programme.

In line with recent government announcements concerning the requirement for all persons participating in major events, Team Event require all volunteers, crew, suppliers and attendees to be fully vaccinated prior to their arrival to our venue. We are unable to accept applications from unvaccinated persons.

Ticket allocation
- The types and quantities of tickets available to choose from varies dependant on the event you are registering for. Please refer to the header of each event section of this form.

Shifts begin at 8:30am, and end at 5:00pm (unless otherwise notified) with a 30min lunch break at 1.00pm approx.
- Lunch is provided (those with specific dietary requirements may prefer to self cater)
- Volunteers should bring their own snacks, morning and afternoon tea and water bottles (fountains are available on site)
- Volunteers MUST wear sturdy, covered shoes
- Volunteers MUST wear a high visibility vest on site (provided)
- Volunteers MUST sign in at least 10 mins prior to their shift, and attend a safety briefing
- Volunteers MUST dress appropriately for the weather (sun screen, hats, rain jacket etc. as required)
- All volunteer shifts are at North Hagley Park, Christchurch (Entertainment Triangle)
- Parking is not available within Hagley Park unless otherwise advised

Only volunteers who are available for the full shift length will be considered.

Preference will be given to;
- people who are available to multiple, consecutive days
- people who are able to commit to one of the listed 'preferential roles'
- people who have volunteered at a Team Event festival before
