英國NHS心理衛生健康的社會政策顧問

Professor Paul Crawford discusses the folk syndrome cabin fever during pandemic lockdowns (the greatest confinement in history) and its mitigation through creative practices in the arts and humanities. Drawing on an array of pioneering work in the health humanities, not least in advancing the role of social and cultural assets for health, Professor Crawford reports on his high profile campaign to support young people in the midst of lockdown restrictions, called What’s Up With Everyone? This campaign with Academy-award winning animation company Aardman, the makers of Shaun the Sheep, Wallace & Gromit etc., reached over 17m in the first four months of launch in 2021. He will show how creative practices are key to supporting mental health, extending beyond the experience of cabin fever per se, and exploring the implications for the education and practice of health professionals.
