Please fill out all information below to charter a local chapter of Alpha Tau Alpha.
To be eligible to charter an institution must:
1. Have a major in Agricultural and/or Extension Education at their respective institution.
2. Have secured a faculty or graduate advisor for the local ATA chapter.
3. Include a list of the undergraduate students who would be considered charter members of the organization.
4. Provide a letter, on institution letterhead, from the Dean/Head of the College/Department/School of Agriculture or Education in which the organization will be affiliated showing support and approval of establishing a ATA chapter.
5. Submit a copy of National Alpha Tau Alpha initiation Report/Order Form for the first class of initiates and pay appropriate fees and the additional charter fee of $25.00.
Official approval and installation will take place at the next regular ATA conclave during the business session.
