Girls in Aviation Day is a one-day event designed for girls with the goal to inspire exploration of aviation and aerospace.

The Mountain State Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI) is dedicated to cultivating aspiring aerospace professionals, inspiring aviation passion in women and youth, and empowering women in aviation.

Get ready for North Central West Virginia's 3rd Annual Girls in Aviation Day, hosted by the Mountain State Chapter of Women in Aviation International. We'll have interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and exciting demonstrations that will keep you engaged throughout the day.
Register now and be a part of this amazing event! All
participants, parents, guardians, and children, are required to register.
Guardians must accompany individuals under 18 years of age throughout the
event.
The first 100 girls will receive an official 2024 Girls in Aviation Day Activity Kit and all youth will receive a drawstring bag.

- What is the registration deadline? Registration will remain open until the event concludes. You must register online prior to check-in.
- Is the event free? Yes, entry and everything inside of the event is free, with exception to purchases made at the food trucks.
- Is parking free? Yes
- Who can attend this event? Everyone is welcome (girls, boys, parents and everyone far and near) and included.
- Can I arrive later than 10 a.m.? This event adopts an open house format, allowing guests to drop in and linger at their leisure. Visitors are welcome to join us at any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Will food and drinks be available? Yes, there will be food trucks on-site. Items from the food trucks will be at your own expense.
