Ordering process
1) Join the waitlist (complete this form)
2) We contact you to schedule a date and collect deposit ($100 per side of beef)
3) A week before processing, we send you a cut sheet to fill out your customizations (optional!) and schedule approximate delivery
4) Once processed, we contact you to finalize delivery, usually 17-20 days after processing dateĀ
5) We deliver your beef and collect payment
6) You enjoy amazing beef for a long time
Wait List: Our wait list for beef is several months long.
Price: The current price of our bulk beef is $4.00 per pound live weight, which comes out to about $11 per pound packaged weight. Note our prices are subject to change.
"Typical" side of beef:
450 lbs live weight
$1,800 meat cost including $100 deposit
170 lbs packaged weight, takes up 5.8 cubic feet of freezer space
20% steaks, 30% roasts, 45% ground beef, 5% organs + extra fat and bones if wanted
Customization: You get to decide how you want it cut. Unfortunately you cannot get the whole cow made into filets and ribeyes, but there are several choices you can make - whether you want t-bones or NY strips, whether you want a tenderloin roast or filets, whether you want "butcher cuts" like Denver steaks and flank steaks, which roasts you want to keep and which ones you want to grind, and several other options. All these options are described in detail on our cut sheet form, which we send you pre-filled with our recommendations, so it is a fun and easy process.
