Form Description
Experience the sound and story of Korean pop music with CHAMIN, a Berlin-based composer, singer and vocal coach who has trained SM Entertainment artists including Girls’ Generation and f(x).
Across three evenings at the Korean Cultural Centre UK, participants will explore both the vocal artistry and cultural journey of K-Pop — from YB’s iconic song “I’m a Butterfly” to the story of Korea’s 1990s music renaissance.
🎙️ Session 1 – The Sound of K-Pop (Vocal Workshop)

A hands-on workshop learning “I’m a Butterfly” by YB — focusing on tone, emotion, pronunciation and stage energy.
💫 Session 2 – The Story of K-Pop (Talk & Demonstration)
📅 12 November (Wed) | 🕕 6:00–8:00 PM
A talk and demonstration exploring the evolution of K-Pop from the 1990s to today’s global phenomenon.

About the Instructor – CHAMIN
Based in Berlin, CHAMIN is a singer-songwriter, composer, and experienced vocal coach who has taught at leading institutions in Korea and Europe.
She has previously worked as a vocal coach and recording director for SM Entertainment artists including Girls’ Generation, f(x), and Super Junior.
Her teaching combines healthy vocal techniques, Korean pronunciation, and emotional connection, encouraging participants to express themselves freely through music.
