Questionnaire for Early Career Researchers
This survey is focused on Early Stage Researchers (ESR)/Early Career Researchers (ECR), who are working on their doctoral thesis and those who are in the first four years of their postdoc research career. The idea of this survey is to get insights in the views and challenges that these researchers encounter in this phase of their career.
The survey is carried out by the working group of Early stage/career researchers of the Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers (FUURT). Questions about this survey can be addressed to FUURTs senior adviser Riku Matilainen (

The results of the survey will be presented at the Eurodoc Conference in Tampere in 2018. The results will be used in interest representation of ESR/ECRs and in the development of FUURT's policies. The answers will be handled confidentially and anonymously.

This survey will take 10 - 20 minutes of your time.
