  • Hello there! My name is Mariyah Younger. I am a wife and a mother of 3, currently, I am a Senior Communication student here at MSU Denver. I accepted a fellowship position with Generation Hope: FamilyU, a nonprofit in Washington DC, to be a student advocate for parents on and off campus. 
  • Thank you for participating in this brief survey! The NEST is an upcoming student organization with initiatives to recognize parenting-students at MSU Denver and the Auraria Campus through improved access for support and resources.
  • For the purpose of this survey, MSU Denver states, a parenting student is any student who is pregnant or is a primary caregiver for a minor child, including biological parents, adoptive parents, step-parents, grandparents, legal guardians, and foster parents. This definition recognizes the diverse circumstances of student parents and encompasses those caring for children of all ages, from infants to adults.

The information and data collected from this survey will not be used or sold at anytime for any reason. The data will be used to formulate proposals that will be submitted on the behalf of the parenting-student population at MSU Denver and Auraria Campus, to close the gaps of academic needs and familial support.
