2018 Neighborhood Leadership Institute Application
Historic Macon Foundation invites individuals who are interested in developing the skills and knowledge to make a difference in their neighborhood to apply for the second Neighborhood Leadership Institute. This program will focus on topics including community engagement, effective leadership, working with local resources, and building effective neighborhood associations.

Why should you participate?
• You want to make an impact in your neighborhood, but don’t know where to start.
• You want to improve communications with your neighbors.
• You want to create a neighborhood association.
• You want to apply for grant opportunities for your neighborhood.
• You want to make a difference in your neighborhood!

By committing to the training, you agree to attend three Saturday sessions, 3 out of 4 local resource sessions. Please note that only neighborhoods participating in the training program are eligible for the Neighborhood Small Grant Program. The development of the grant application will be included in the curriculum and discussion at the training sessions.

Saturday, February 2 | Impact Session - Putting Skills to Action: Goal Setting and Grant Applications and GRADUATION (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Attendance to all impact sessions and at least 3 local resource sessions are mandatory.

If accepted, the fee to attend Neighborhood Leadership Institute is $40.00 to cover the cost of lunch and snacks. Limited scholarships are available. Please select the appropriate box in the application if you would like to be considered for a scholarship.
