This event typically sells out at 144 players from more than 39 different Concord area businesses and we need your help!
Local business support of this year’s event will make a significant impact. The tournament, and the generous contributions of our sponsors, are a significant source of funding for the excellent programming we provide for local students. Proceeds from the event help fund the Business Grants for Education initiative and Capital Area Student Leadership (CASL) program, the only student leadership program of its kind in the state. Since the Tournament began in 1988, the Chamber has awarded over $170,000 in business grants to area teachers and 750 students have graduated from CASL.
The Funds for Education grants help projects ranging from nonprofit initiatives that support local students, after-school programs, educational summer camps, to innovative curriculum created by area teachers that are not funded by school budgets. Selected initiatives typically support practical skill-building and connect students to business leaders in the community, where they can learn about different industries and career opportunities.
