Version 2, dated 11 June 2026
You are invited to take part in a research study on the competencies of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs). The study is led nationally by the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR), in collaboration with Dr Vijaykumar Gawali, Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Research Institute, Mumbai. The purpose is to validate a questionnaire that measures CRC competencies across experience levels.
What is involved: you complete this online questionnaire once. It has a few background questions, a set of self-rating statements (rated 0-10), and a set of multiple-choice scenarios. It takes about 30-40 minutes. There is no follow-up.
Voluntary & confidential: taking part is entirely your choice. Your decision to take part in, decline participation in, or withdraw from this study at any time before you submit will not affect your employment status, performance appraisal, professional evaluation, or any future opportunities in any way. The form does not collect your name or any identifying detail. Your answers are stored securely and reported only as combined, anonymous results. Your individual responses will not be shared with any hiring authority or with any personnel involved in employment-related decisions. All data collected during the study are maintained with strict confidentiality and are used solely for research purposes. Because your response is anonymous, it cannot be withdrawn after you submit it.
Risks/benefits: there are no physical risks; the main thing is the time it takes. You may not benefit directly, but your answers help build a validated tool for CRC training and development.
