Application Deadline: May 15 (annually)
You will be notified of award decisions through your Iliff email account.
Awards are granted to students who apply by the annual May 15th deadline. The Office of Professional Formation strives to pay up to $18/hour, including site compensation and depending upon available funds. For example, if your site is paying you $12/hour, the Office of Professional Formation may be able to provide funding for $6/hour for a combined total of $18/hour.
Remaining funds are available on a rolling basis until funds allocated for the academic year are exhausted. If you find yourself in need of financial support related to your Internship hours, please consult with OPF and apply through the below online Internship Fellowships & Scholarships Form.
Schlessman and Urban Ministry Fellowships: Through the generosity of donors, these competitive fellowships support MDiv or MASJE interns working in a variety of settings, including:
- Communities of color;
- Urban or rural settings;
- Marginalized communities; and/or
- Communities experiencing poverty.
The Schlessman, Urban Ministry, and Rollie R. Kelley Family Foundation Fellowships and are intended to supplement site-based financial support, though students at sites that cannot provide financial support are also invited to apply. Exactly how much aid each successful applicant will receive depends on the total number of applicants and the amount of site-based financial compensation the student is receiving.
Dr. Louis Bloede Scholarship: This award was established by the family of the late Rev. Dr. Bloede, a long-time member of the Iliff Faculty and Emeritus Director of Ministerial Studies (now Office of Professional Formation). This award goes to an Iliff student or students intent on serving as pastors in the local church, with weighted consideration given to students who articulate an understanding of and a passion and heart for pastoral ministry in smaller communities/rural settings.
