The Carlingwood Community
Association team consists of a small group of community members (neighbours like you)
volunteering their time for the community. In order to best represent the needs of the community
we need more neigbours to join the CCA Board. That means we need YOU!
The CCA meets
monthly (day TBD) for approx 1 hr to discuss local activities and issues affecting our community. CCA membership is open to all living
in the Carlingwood area (bounded by Sherbourne, Carling, Woodroffe, and Byron
Avenues). All residents are invited to attend and participate in the CCA’s
meetings and activities.
Our Annual General Meeting is Thursday October 16th
from 7pm-8:15pm at Carlingwood Library Meeting room. At the AGM, Councillor Kavanagh will
be giving there to give an update and answer questions. We will be reviewing
the CCA's activities for 24/25 and holding elections to determine the 2024-2025
CCA Executive. If you are interested in joining the CCA Executive or if you
would like to nominate someone, please fill out this form and attend the
meeting. Filling out the form doesn’t lock you or your nominee in. Someone from
the CCA Executive will reach out to the nominee prior to the AGM.
There are various roles on the CCA Executive that
will be voted on at the AGM including President, Vice President, Secretary,
Treasure and Directors. There is a brief description of the positions in the
form below. When filling out the nomination for a CCA Executive position please
provide the full name of the nominated person, and a phone number or email
where they can be contacted.
There are many ways to participate in CCA in
addition to joining the executive. You can attend meetings, volunteer here and
there or join a working group. We look forward to seeing some new faces at the
CCA AGM!
