We’re searching for a proven email marketer who’s obsessed with the art and science of email. As an email marketing manager at Tovala, you’ll be focused on strategy, management, reporting, and optimization of Tovala’s customer-facing promotional and transactional email campaigns. You’ll use our email channel to engage with customers, drive revenue, and build brand loyalty.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.- Minimum of 2 years of email marketing experience, preferably in e-commerce or consumer company. You can back this up with email programs you’ve ran.- You have experience with a variety of email marketing programs. Bonus points for MailChimp and Intercom.- You have a strong ability to rapidly learn new skills and know enough HTML to be dangerous. You won’t be coding from scratch, but you’ll occasionally need to look at code to troubleshoot issues.- You’re right brained and left brained. You have a passion for marketing and brand storytelling and you don’t shy away from the quantitative analysis needed to build a successful program.- You want to work in an environment that takes a people-first approach; values humility, integrity and ambition; and is focused on creating a culture that keeps people happy and challenged- Food has played (or continues to play) an important role in your life.
About the Role
- Lead the strategic development, campaign execution, and reporting for all email efforts across (promotional, reactivation communication strategies as well as triggered and transactional campaigns) with a constant focus on optimization to achieve click-through rate, conversion, revenue,and other key engagement goals.- Project manage the end to end process in collaboration with internal stakeholders from campaign planning, testing and design, to reporting and measuring success through detailed data analysis.- Craft compelling, relevant and timely email content and subject lines to effectively engage, inspire and drive awareness to our customers and prospective customers.
