EBABZ is committed to reflecting the diversity of artists, publishers, and zine makers here in the bay area. This includes both diversity in content and also prioritizing traditionally underrepresented voices in publicly curated spaces. We as a group strive for consensus of these values. We review and vote on all applications, giving priority to qtpoc applicants.
When applications close, we will review and vote on which tablers to accept. This process will take a few weeks to complete. We will send a link to pay the tabling fee to those accepted and send a rejection letter to those not accepted and put them on the waiting list. If accepted tablers do not pay the fee or can't make it to the fest we will offer those spots to people on the waiting list. EBABZ Fest is a 100% volunteer-run event and all table fees collected are used to keep the fest running, including venue fees, furniture rentals, and paying workshop instructors.
The application deadline is October 15, 2018.
