As a translator, you’ll work with written text and scripts, converting content from one language into another while preserving the original meaning, context, and style. HOSPITALITY: As a Hospitality Volunteer at the IMPACT 25 Theatre Festival, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our esteemed artists and performers. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating and fulfilling their requests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout their time at the festival. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, your quick thinking will be essential in implementing emergency procedures to ensure everyone's safety. Additionally, you'll help uphold our commitment to responsible alcohol consumption by preventing the entry or exit of open liquor from our premises. Your vigilance will contribute to a seamless and secure festival experience.  

INTERPRETER: Join our dedicated team as a Volunteer Interpreter and bridge communication gaps to create an inclusive and enriching event experience. Your language skills in Arabic, Spanish, English, French or ASL will ignite understanding. As an interpreter, you’ll deal with spoken communication in real-time. Interpreters need to be quick thinkers, as you’ll have to process spoken language on the spot and convey the message accurately and immediately, while preserving the original meaning, context, and style. SQUARE PEG: Square Peg volunteers support the pop-up shop, where artists sell their merchandise and special creations. You'll assist with customer interactions, help manage transactions, and contribute to creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for festival attendees. This is anytime between September 6th and September 28th.
