Food Hero’s Food Truck Apprenticeship Program connects operators with motivated, trained apprentices ready to grow into dependable team members.

Through our 8 to 12 month program, apprentices work alongside you on your truck for a minimum of 30 hours per week, gaining real-world, hands-on experience while supporting your daily operations.

Developed in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, this certified program takes the pressure off hiring. We handle recruitment, culinary training support, and compliance, so you can stay focused on running your business.

Participating Food Truck Employers:

  • Earn back up to $10,000 in wage reimbursement during the apprentice’s 12-month training period
  • Lower hiring risk while apprentices learn their systems
  • Can expand hours, truck locations, or capacity
