Stand for Children Fellowship Application


Stand for Children’s Fellowship is a dynamic C3 leadership program that empowers socially conscious individuals to become influential community leaders. This specialized fellowship focuses on driving systemic change for quality education by engaging directly with school boards. The fellowship will run from now– August 2025.

  • Attend monthly school board meetings in your area.
  • Host two community events to engage and mobilize local families with guidance from affiliate staff.

  • Speak at least twice at school board meetings during the duration of the fellowship  

  • Collect 5-10 pledge cards per month to grow the Stand for Children network 

  • Attend any other affiliate event as needed.  

Eligibility: 

  • Passion for Education & Policy: You're enthusiastic about supporting excellent schools and advocating for impactful policy changes. 

  • Sociable & Approachable: You enjoy engaging with others and building meaningful connections.  

  • Community Leadership: You're actively involved in your community and inspire those around you. 

Commitment: 

  • Attend quarterly Affiliate trainings 
  • Complete monthly goals 

  • Set and pursue individual leadership development goals 

  • Share your story with the affiliate staff  

We are also seeking one fellow to support our Criminal Justice Reform movement-building efforts. This role will share many of the same responsibilities as the general fellowship, with slight variations to align with the specific needs of our upcoming initiatives.
