4+1 MBA Advising Form
Please fill out this form to request that the 4+1 MBA subplan be added to your academic record.
Juniors and seniors at Catholic University can enroll in up to 12 credits of approved MBA courses during their undergraduate studies. These courses can then transfer to the MBA after the student graduates, upon admission to the MBA program.

When enrolling in 4+1 MBA courses, please review the approved curriculum.

Important notes:
  • 4+1 MBA students are required to wear business casual attire to all in-person MBA courses.
  • Admission to the MBA program is not guaranteed for 4+1 MBA students. Students must apply to the MBA program during the fall semester of their senior year.
  • 4+1 students who do not complete all 12 allowed credit hours are still welcome to apply to the MBA program in the fall of their senior year.
  • Admission to all 4+1 MBA courses is not guaranteed and enrollment is subject to the MBA director's discretion on a case-by-case basis.
  • The availability of 12 credits worth of 4+1 MBA courses during a student's undergraduate studies, especially specialization courses, is not guaranteed.
  • MBA courses are more rigorous and use a different grading scale than undergraduate courses.
  • A student must achieve a C or higher in each 4+1 MBA course for that course to transfer to the MBA.
