Stove Top Tales...
March is "World Women's History" month !!

NAMAHA FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS, brings a fun and hopefully meaningful way of celebrating the women in our lives!

In most homes the Kitchen is a Haven, a Refuge, a Sanctuary. Some of us create magic in there and some of us just barely make it out with our hair intact:)) Whatever maybe our interest or skill most of us find ourselves gravitating towards the stove top at some point in the day!
It is a place where family gathers, memories are shared and memories are made!

This time, gather around to stir up a pot full of trouble for a most deserving cause...

"REWIRE COMMUNITY is a San Ramon based grassroots non-profit that is creating awareness, dialog and action against gender based violence. In that, they work with organizations across the Bay Area that serve victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. During these isolating and challenging times of the pandemic, victims of violence and abuse have been disproportionately impacted, with their voices further silenced. Rewire Community is creating "Care Kits" to provide temporary emergency assistance in the form of basic essentials such as soap, sanitary products, masks, hand sanitizers, scarves, canned food, etc., to survivors who have been impacted by these unprecedented times."

We would like to raise awareness and help REWIRE COMMUNITY in their endeavors, through this unique event!

I am sure we have in our lives at least one woman who has motivated and supported us or from whom we have taken inspiration...
We want to hear the stories of these everyday women...Grandmothers, mothers, mothers-in-law, sisters, friends, teachers....

Demonstrate or Read aloud a recipe they might have taught you or a dish they enjoyed or one that reminds you of them and tell us what they mean to you!!

Let us celebrate our everyday heroes with food, laughter and joy...
