We are a group of La Plata County moms working to get more money for childcare in our county. You can help!

The good news is that we can increase support for our families by hundreds of thousands of dollars each year! We can now put money towards childcare from an already-existing tax on lodging. The Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) just has to put this "reallocation" on the 2024 ballot.

More good news! The BoCC is scheduled to vote on final ballot language on Aug. 27, 2024. THIS TUESDAY! Make sure your voice is heard before it is too late. PLEASE JOIN US AT THE MEETING! RSVP by filling out the form.
