Flags for Addison Sign up 2025

Sign up now to be included in our community-wide United States Flag display for the 2025 year.  On five patriotic days (Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Patriots Day, and Veterans Day), volunteers will install a beautiful 3’X5’ American Flag in your front yard or business early in the morning and return to collect it in the evening.  

The cost for this program is $50 for the year.  The proceeds from this program will be distributed among groups that help distribute the flags, as well as a scholarship to send ATHS students to Washington, D.C. for educational programming.

If you are unsure if the center section of your front lawn, where the flag will be placed, has underground utilities, we highly recommend that you contact J.U.L.I.E. at 811 to request that a locator come out to your property, free of charge, to mark any underground services before the program commences on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025.  More information about submitting a request for free locate services can be found at https://www.illinois1call.com. Be advised that you are responsible for informing us of any water sprinkling systems that need to be avoided.  Your signature below acknowledges that Addison Trail High School will not be responsible for any damage to any underground utilities, including water sprinklers, on your property that may result from your participation in this program.


Further, in order to participate in this program, you must complete and sign the following:

PARTICIPANT HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

  

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the undersigned hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Addison Trail High School its officials, agents and employees, volunteers against injuries, deaths, loss, damages, claims, suits, liabilities, judgments, costs and expenses (including attorneys fees), which may in anywise accrue against Addison Trail High School, its officials, agents and employees, arising in whole or in part or in consequence of participating in the Flags for Addison program or which may in anywise result therefore, except that arising out of the sole legal cause of Addison Trail High School its officials, agents or employees. The undersigned shall, at its own expense, appear, defend and pay all charges of attorneys and all costs and other expenses arising therefore or incurred in connection therewith, and, if any judgment shall be rendered against Addison Trail High School its officials, agents and employees, in any such action, the undersigned shall, at its own expense, satisfy and discharge the same.

 

The invalidity or unenforceability of any of the provisions hereof shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of this Agreement.
