This course will focus on the five areas of reading and how to implement reading and writing strategies across the curriculum.  Using assessments and planning for instruction will be part of this course.  Using picture books to teach literacy elements (at all grade levels) and writing in a variety of genres will be implemented.  The target audience will be any Georgia P-12 certified teacher.
