May 2021 48HR Virtual Music Festival Application
May's 48 HVMF will start Friday, May 21, at 9pm, and will continue until Sunday, May 23, at 11:45pm.

PLEASE NOTE this is not our usual "last weekend of the month" - we have moved up a weekend to avoid Memorial Day weekend.

Amplifying voices in our community - especially those of color - is more important than ever, and the #VoicesofCLE public art initiative is a call to action for local artists and creators to inspire, communicate, and represent through their medium. This effort is meant to provide a platform for freedom of expression and encourage healing while also sparking conversation and action, here and now, as we unite to move Cleveland forward.

As we approach the one year anniversary of Voices of Cleveland and the increased demand for conversations around racial justice which launched this program, Voices of CLE is getting ready to announce a range of exciting new projects, partnerships, and works of art.

I hereby acknowledge that prime time spots (Saturday/Sunday 4pm-9pm) are limited and acts will be curated/appointed by the organizers to fill these times to maintain a high quality viewing experience.  I understand that consistent festival participants and participants with demonstrated high-quality streaming history may receive priority consideration for time assignments. *

Overnight slots are often difficult to fill.  Acts that agree to fill a late night/early morning time slot (2am-9am) are much appreciated, and will receive higher priority promotion during next month's festival.  Are you willing to fill an overnight slot this month? *
