Hey, my name is Hercules E. Reid and I am exploring the possibility of being your next New York State Assemblymember for the 58th District in Brooklyn.

Young leaders like me have been ready to lead, but are often discouraged by those who say "wait your turn" or "you're too young." We have heard it all and enough is enough! I am ready, and there is no better time than the present.

For many years, I did not have a stable place to call home. It was in this neighborhood where I was finally able to put down roots and gain peace of mind. In this district I'm surrounded by people who remind me of my own family- hard workers, with a deep love and appreciation for the community. Because of the comfort I've been afforded here and the kinship I feel, my focus will be on the people and not the politics.
