NYUMUNC XI Logistics Coordinator Application

The Logistics Coordinator (LC) position is a Secretariat-adjacent position that will primarily assist the Operations team, although the role is flexible in that LCs may occasionally be assigned tasks in other departments. This position is great for those who would like to apply for Secretariat in the following year, as it is an opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of the conference.

The workload will fall primarily during the weekend of the conference and a few weeks prior, although you may be assigned tasks earlier should they be necessary. A few responsibilities include:
- Contacting sponsors for food/merchandise
- Printing badges, placards, maps, etc.
- Assisting with food orders during the weekend
- Tracking and collecting conference purchases
- Planning conference socials

The role is a highly flexible one, and you are at liberty to make suggestions as to how else you'd like to be involved!

Note that given the demanding nature of the role, especially during the weekend of the conference, LCs cannot serve as Chairs, Vice Chairs, Crisis Directors or Assistant Crisis Directors. You can only serve as a Crisis Analyst on a committee, with the caveat that although you can help the committee create content for the weekend, you will not be able to participate in a Crisis Analyst role during the actual conference weekend. However, we highly recommend applying for a Crisis Analyst position, as it is a great way to get to know more people in the club!
