2026 Hawaiʻi History Day Judge Sign Up
Thank you for your willingness to serve as a Hawaiʻi History Day judge, and for your time and dedication to students and teachers participating in the Hawaiʻi History Day Program, a program of Hawaiʻi Council for the Humanities! Without your service during our Fairs, the feedback we give to students on their projects not be possible. Before you fill in this form, please carefully read the two points below.

1) Our Hawaiʻi History Day Fairs will will be LIVE, in-person this year. This follows the pre-pandemic format, meaning that:

  • Papers and Websites are judged online prior to the fair.
  • Documentaries, Exhibits, and Performances will be judged LIVE, the day of the fair.
  • We will need Documentary, Exhibit, and Performance judges to attend the fairs in-person. Please ensure that you review and save the dates for the fairs you select if you plan to judge Documentaries, Exhibits, and/or Performances.

2) We do have a need for ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi judges, those who are able to judge projects in the Hawaiian Language. If you are able to judge projects in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, we invite you to judge student projects in this category.

Thank you again for helping our students, teachers, and communities to mālma our histories and mālama each other!
