Interested in AVC's Airframe Manufacturing Technology Degree Pilot Program?
In Fall 2016, AVC will begin offering a bachelor’s degree in Airframe Manufacturing Technology.The degree is designed to meet the need in the aerospace industry for multi-skilled individuals in major processes of manufacturing. Core curriculum addresses airframe manufacturing, aircraft fabrication (structures and composites), and electronics. This program is being designed to meet the needs of local aerospace employers. Potential jobs include: Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, Production Technician, Metals Technician, Production Supervisor or Industrial Engineer. Advisory committee member employers include Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Scaled Composites, The Spaceship Company, and Edwards Air Force Base.
